Ideal Settings For Keyboard in Windows XP

If you have a problem with typing Capital letters using the shift key then you have 1 of 2 options:

  1. You have a hardware issue which is the Shift key, To define that you can try the other Shift key in the keyboard, If you still have the same issue then its not a hardware issue and you can move to option 2
  2. You have soft issue which is one of the following:
      • Keyboard Settings: Go to Control Panel> Keyboard and set the Repeat delay and rate to be like that

      •     Word Process is using high memory which make it freezes instantly and get back: Double check that you didn't newly install any software that install Office modules and if you did then probably the new add-on is the reason of your issue(s)
      • Language Settings: Check you are choosing appropriate language set
      • Font Settings: Check that you are using a Font that have Capital letters ( Like Times)

Hope this topic is helpful for anyone who has a problem with typing on his KeyBoard.
